1 to 3kVA Generators

A 1 to 3kVA generator runs the basics: a fridge, lights, fans, phone and laptop charging, a TV or a few hand tools. Most in this range are inverter generators, light enough to lift into a ute, quiet enough for a campground and clean enough for electronics. There are also small petrol and diesel open-frame sets for work use.

Caravan air conditioners usually need a 2.2kVA or larger generator, and some need a soft starter, so check your unit's starting load first. Not sure what size you need? Use the Generator Finder or send us your load and we will size it for you.
