Common questions

Can't see yours? Call 07 4728 2796 or send us a message above.

What size generator do I need?

Add up what you want to run at the same time, then allow some headroom for anything with a motor. A 2 to 3kVA inverter covers a fridge, lights and phone charging; 5kVA and up runs more of the house. The size calculator does the maths for you, and Cyclone Ready helps you plan for cyclone season.

Can I pick up my order from your showroom?

Online orders are delivered rather than collected, including in Townsville, as most units ship straight from the supplier's warehouse to you. Delivery is priced to your postcode on each product page and at checkout, and units marked Free delivery ship free. A few units can be collected from the supplier's own warehouse, and where that's offered it shows at checkout.

Are your generators covered by warranty?

Yes. Every unit carries the manufacturer's warranty. Cover depends on the brand and model, and most include at least 12 months.

Do you install and service generators?

Yes. Our electrical team installs, services and repairs generators, from routine maintenance to fault-finding. Call us or send a message above to book.

Do you supply generators for businesses, farms and mine sites?

Yes. We supply commercial, three phase and mine spec sets, and quote bigger jobs with transfer switches, installation and freight. Send us a message with the load, the phase and where it is going.

What's the difference between inverter and conventional generators?

Inverter generators make cleaner power, so they're safer for laptops, phones and other electronics, and they're quieter and use less fuel. Conventional generators come in bigger sizes and suit tools and larger appliances.
