Free delivery

Portable and home backup generators and power stations in our free delivery range ship free anywhere in Australia. Selected Welling & Crossley and Hyundai units also ship free to the states named on their product page, and pay the normal delivery price elsewhere. Checkout shows the delivery as free when your order qualifies.

Delivery on everything else

Delivery is charged at checkout. The price is set by your state and the total weight of your order, and each product page shows its delivery price for every state.

We send each unit from the warehouse closest to you. If your order has units from different warehouses, they arrive as separate deliveries and checkout adds the delivery price for each.

For units marked price on request, we quote delivery with the price.

How your order is delivered

Units up to 60 kg travel by courier in their carton and are delivered to your door.

Heavier units travel on a pallet or skid by road freight, on a truck without a tailgate. The driver delivers to the kerb or the end of the driveway, and you unload the unit when it arrives. Units up to about 120 kg can be lifted down by hand with two or more people. Heavier units need a forklift, tractor forks or similar.

Large diesel sets (roughly 1 tonne and up) need a forklift, crane or tractor forks on site to unload. We'll call you before dispatch to confirm access and unloading.

Need a tailgate truck, or is access to your site tight, steep or unsealed? Contact us before you order, and we'll quote any extra cost and book it for you.

If a delivery can't be completed because nobody is there or the unit can't be unloaded, the carrier may take it back to their depot and charge for storage and to deliver it again. That charge is passed on to you, and we'll tell you the amount before we rebook. Changing the delivery address after dispatch can also cost extra, and we'll tell you the cost first.

Regional, remote and island addresses

Checkout prices, and free delivery to selected states, are based on delivery to capital cities and major centres. Regional, remote and island addresses can cost more to reach. If yours does, we'll contact you before dispatch with the difference, and you can choose to go ahead or cancel for a full refund.

Delivery times

Most orders are dispatched within 1 to 5 business days and arrive within 3 to 8 business days of ordering, with WA and remote addresses toward the longer end. Larger diesel sets are often built or brought in to order and can take 1 to 2 weeks to dispatch, and we'll confirm the timing after you order. We'll email you when your order is on its way, with tracking details where the carrier provides them.

Delivery times are estimates. If your order is going to be held up, we'll let you know, and if it's significantly delayed you can cancel it for a full refund.

Townsville

Townsville customers get free local delivery, or can collect free from our showroom at 2/441 Woolcock St, Garbutt. Both options show at checkout. Hyundai units up to 22kVA, and other units we hold in stock in Townsville, can usually be delivered the next business day. For anything brought in to order, we'll arrange the delivery time with you once it arrives.

When your order arrives

Please check your order when it arrives and note any damage on the driver's paperwork before you sign. Tell us as soon as you can if anything is damaged or missing, ideally with photos within 48 hours, so we can sort it out with the carrier. This doesn't limit your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

We deliver within Australia only, and larger units can't be delivered to PO boxes or parcel lockers.
