Many of our generators sit well under the RRP, and it's fair to ask how. The short answer: we'd rather sell lots of generators on a small margin than a few on a big one. That's how we stay competitive.
Why our prices are low
We take a smaller margin
The RRP is the price the supplier recommends to retailers, and it allows for the retailer's margin. Where we can, we sell under it and take less, because we'd rather sell more generators.
We buy direct
We're an Authorised Genelite Master Dealer, so we buy direct from Genelite, an Australian generator distributor since 1988. The other brands we sell come from their Australian suppliers. It's the same genuine stock other Australian retailers sell, with the same manufacturer's warranty.
We keep our costs down
Many of our generators ship straight from the supplier's warehouse to you, so we're not paying to store them or freight them twice. And we're one showroom, not a chain of big-box stores.

We're a real business with a showroom and a team in Garbutt, Townsville. You can call us, email us or come in. We run alongside our sister businesses Gentec Electrical & Instrumentation and Gen4Hire.
We check our prices often
We compare our prices with other Australian sellers regularly and keep them as low as we can, while still making enough to look after you before and after you buy.
Not everything is under RRP
Where a supplier's pricing doesn't leave room, a unit sits at RRP. Where a listing shows a crossed-out price, that's the supplier's RRP, and the saving shown is the difference between it and our price.

- Our ABN is 90 236 278 822. Look it up on ABN Lookup. It's held by The Trustee for Wood Family Trust, the business behind Gen4Sale, Gen4Hire and Gentec Electrical & Instrumentation, and Gen4Sale is listed as one of its business names. The ABN has been registered for GST since 2015.
- Find us on the map. Our showroom is at 2/441 Woolcock St, Garbutt QLD 4814, open Monday to Thursday 8am to 4:30pm and Friday 8am to 2pm. See it, and our Google reviews, on Google Maps.

- Pay securely. Checkout runs on Shopify, and your card details go to the payment provider, never to us.
- Installs by a licensed electrician. Our sister business Gentec Electrical & Instrumentation (Electrical Contractor Licence 79985) installs and services generators in Townsville and the surrounding region.
