8 to 15kVA Generators

An 8 to 15kVA generator can run most of a typical home through an outage, often including an air conditioner or two and a bore or pressure pump, as long as the biggest loads are not all started at once. It also suits farm sheds, workshops, small shops and offices, and worksites running welders and compressors.

Some diesel units in this range have remote start and can be paired with an automatic transfer switch, so the generator starts by itself when the power goes out. Three phase models are available for three phase sites. Not sure what size you need? Use the Generator Finder or send us your load and we will size it for you.
