72kVA Hino Diesel Generator GH72

The GH72 is a three phase diesel generator set made in Australia and rated 72kVA prime and 79kVA standby. It is powered by a Hino W04DT1 engine and has a key-start panel.

Key features

• The key-start panel includes shutdown protection, so the engine is stopped if a fault develops.
• An industrial muffler is fitted to reduce exhaust noise.

What it will run

Use the 72kVA prime rating for loads that run regularly and the 79kVA standby rating for emergency supply when sizing the GH72. Typical loads are lighting, pumps, compressors, refrigeration and three phase machinery on one site. Total the running load, then check the starting demand of the biggest motor, which can be several times its running current, before deciding whether starts need staging. Balance single phase loads across the phases and check each machine's compliance plate. A licensed electrician should install the changeover or transfer switch that connects the set to site wiring. Send us your load list and we will help with sizing.

The GH72 suits workshops, farms, pumping and irrigation sites, light industry, commercial premises and construction sites that need three phase power.
