3.3kVA Honda Petrol Generator GH2700H Hire Spec

The GH2700H is a hire spec single phase petrol generator producing 2.7kW / 3.3kVA at 240V and 50Hz. A Honda overhead valve single cylinder engine running at 3000 rpm drives an AC synchronous brushless alternator with Class H insulation. Starting is by recoil, and a small roll frame surrounds the set.

The GH2700H can supply about 11.3A in total at 240V (2700W divided by 240V), shared between its two outlets. Typically that suits site lighting, drills, grinders, saws, a small compressor, a transfer pump and chargers, as long as the combined load stays within the rated output. A motor draws several times its running current at start, so bring the largest load on first and add the rest once it has settled.
