413kVA Cummins Diesel Generator GCM375S

The GCM375S is a three phase, 415V, 50Hz diesel generator set powered by a Cummins NTAA855G7, a six cylinder, 14 litre, turbo aftercooled engine running at 1500 rpm. It is rated at 375kVA / 300kW prime power (PRP) and 413kVA / 330kW standby power (ESP). The alternator is a brushless Mecc Alte ECO40-1S4A with an AVR.

At 300kW prime (330kW standby), the GCM375S typically suits large three phase loads: process plant, chillers, pumps, compressors and the starting load of big motors. Size it from a site load schedule rather than the nameplate, and ask an electrician or engineer to assess running loads, motor starting and balance across the phases. The compliance plate on each large motor gives its running and starting load. Prime power (PRP) is for variable load for unlimited hours a year at an average 75% load factor, with 10% overload for one hour in twelve. Standby power (ESP) is for emergency supply at an average 85% load factor, with no overload and a limit of 400 hours a year.
