938kVA Cummins or Perkins Diesel Generator GC900S / GP900S

The GC900S prime rating is continuous running at variable load, at an average load factor of 75%, with 10% overload available for one hour in any 12. Its standby rating is for emergency supply at an average load factor of 85%, with no overload and a limit of 400 hours a year.

What it will run

At 900kVA prime and 938kVA standby, the GC900S is sized for large site loads such as process plant, pumping stations, compressed air and chillers. Work from a load schedule rather than a single figure: what runs together, which motors start hardest, and how the load divides across the three phases. Motor starting demand typically drives the sizing, so consider staged starting or soft starters for the largest motors. An electrician or engineer should assess the schedule, and connection to site wiring should go through a changeover or transfer switch installed by a licensed electrician.
