The EP8000HSR is an 8kVA single phase petrol generator rated at 0.8 power factor, the largest single cylinder unit in the Gentech range, powered by the genuine Honda GX390 with recoil start.
It runs from a 6.1 L fuel tank, giving 2.36 hours at 80 percent load. Noise is rated at 74 dBA at 7m, and output is delivered through Double GPO 15 Amp.
The EP8000HSR carries a serious site load, a workshop, or the essential circuits of most homes through an outage, and recoil start keeps the parts count at a minimum. The EP8000HSRE adds electric start, and RCD protected versions cover managed sites.
