The Gentech EP8000HCRA is an 8kVA single phase petrol generator with an AVR (automatic voltage regulator) alternator, powered by a Honda GX390 engine with recoil start. Maximum output is 8kVA at 0.8 power factor, which works out to about 6.4kW.
Key features

What it will run
The 8kVA maximum is about 6.4kW at 0.8 power factor. Keep the combined running load of everything switched on together below that, with headroom. It typically suits a compressor or welder, a bore or transfer pump, workshop tools, lighting and a fridge or freezer. Motors still draw a larger surge at start even with an AVR, so allow extra for them, and check each appliance's compliance plate for its rated watts or amps. Each 15A outlet is limited to 15A, so share heavier loads across both. A home installation uses an inlet and changeover switch fitted by a licensed electrician.
