The Welling & Crossley WC-P8750 is an 8.75kVA (at 0.8 PF) open frame petrol generator producing 7000W maximum and 6500W rated single phase output at 230/240V, 50Hz. It is powered by the Euro 5 compliant WC-420 single cylinder, 4 stroke OHV air cooled engine with transistor ignition, uses an AVR for steady output, and starts by recoil, electronic, 2-wire or wireless remote start.

What it will run
At 6500W rated the WC-P8750 supplies roughly 27 A at 240V (approximate) in total, with each 15 Amp outlet limited to 15 A. On a trade site that typically covers a drop saw, compressor and lighting together. In a blackout it typically keeps refrigeration, lights, TV, internet and a microwave or kettle going. Motors draw a surge at start-up, so start the largest first and leave headroom. Check appliance plates and add up running watts before connecting.
The WC-P8750 handles trade site power, workshop duty, farm work, event supply and home backup. Home connection must be through an inlet and changeover switch installed by a licensed electrician. The WC-P8750RCD is the RCD protected variant of this platform.
