The Welling & Crossley WC-P6000Si is an enclosed petrol inverter generator rated at 7.2kVA, producing 6000W maximum and 5500W rated pure sine wave output at 230/240V, 50Hz, single phase. It is powered by the Euro 5 compliant WC-320B 4 stroke OHV air cooled engine and starts by recoil, electronic, 2-wire or wireless remote start.

What it will run
At 5500W rated the WC-P6000Si supplies roughly 23 A at 240V (approximate), with the 15 Amp outlet limited to 15 A. It is the caravan air conditioner size: typically enough to start and run a rooftop air conditioner with capacity spare for the fridge and chargers. In a blackout it typically covers refrigeration, lights, TV, internet and a microwave or kettle. Air conditioners and other motors draw a surge at start-up, so start them first. Check appliance plates and add up running watts before connecting.
The WC-P6000Si serves caravan and touring setups, home backup, food vans and mobile business duty, with inverter output for sensitive electronics. Home connection must be through an inlet and changeover switch installed by a licensed electrician. The WC-P9000Si steps the format up to 9000W.
