715kVA CAT Diesel Generator DE715 ENCL

The DE715 is a Cat C18 diesel generator set rated at 715 kVA / 572 kW standby and 650 kVA / 520 kW prime. The standby rating applies at 50 Hz, 415 V and a power factor of 0.8, with the engine running at 1500 rpm on the Low Fuel Consumption strategy. The engine is the Cat C18 ATAAC, an in-line six cylinder, four-stroke, 18.13 litre diesel, and the alternator is a Leroy Somer unit.

What it will run

At 715 kVA / 572 kW standby, this set is sized for site loads rather than single circuits: process plant, large air conditioning and refrigeration, pumping and general distribution. Build the load schedule from running loads, then test it against motor starting, because the largest motors and their starting method decide how much of the 1581 skVA is used. Have an engineer or electrician assess the schedule. Connection to the site switchboard, including any automatic transfer switch, must be installed by a licensed electrician.
