The ED160WELDYSRE is a diesel welder generator: a 160 amp welder with a 60% duty cycle, plus a single phase 230V, 50 Hz generator output of up to 6.8kVA at 0.8 power factor. A Yanmar L100N5 diesel engine drives the set, and it has electric start. Welding leads are not included and are sold separately.
Key features

What it will run
On the generator side, the set typically runs site lighting, grinders, drills and other hand tools within its 6.8kVA maximum output. Motors draw several times their running load at start, so read the compliance plate on each tool and allow for the largest one. The ED160WELDYSRE suits field repairs, fabrication and maintenance welding on farms, building sites, workshops and contract jobs, with the generator output covering the lighting and tools around the work. It is built for standby use and is not rated for prime or continuous duty.
