63kVA Pramac Diesel Generator GSW65P-P

The GSW65P is a three phase, 50Hz diesel generator with a power factor of 0.8 and both standby (LTP) and prime (PRP) ratings. It is powered by a Perkins 1103A-33TG2, a water-cooled, turbocharged three cylinder in-line diesel of 3,300cm³ with a mechanical governor. The alternator is a brushless four pole unit with an electronic voltage regulator, Class H insulation and IP23 protection, and the set sits in a sound-insulated, weatherproof steel canopy on a solid steel base.

Key features

• The sound-insulated canopy is rated 67 dB(A) at 7 m, which keeps the noise down around the set.
• A corrosion-resistant, weatherproof steel enclosure protects the engine and alternator outdoors.
• Lockable access doors give maintenance access while keeping the set secured.
• A solid steel base with forklift pockets lets the set be positioned with a forklift.
• The electronic voltage regulator holds the output steady as the load changes.
• The brushless alternator has no brushes to wear, and its Class H insulation gives the windings thermal headroom.
• IP23 protection guards the alternator against larger solid objects and light water spray.

The 209 litre tank runs the set for 19.98 hours at 75% of prime power and 15.04 hours at 100%, using 10.46L/h and 13.90L/h at those loads.

What it will run

Size this set from a site load schedule rather than from individual appliances. Record the running and starting figures from each machine's compliance plate, work out which motors start together, and total the three phase and single phase loads separately so the single phase circuits can be balanced across the phases. A three phase set of this class typically supplies workshop machinery, pumps, compressors, lighting and building services, but large motors draw several times their running current at start, so the starting method matters as much as the running total. Have an electrician or engineer assess the schedule, and have a licensed electrician connect the set to the site's wiring through a changeover or transfer switch. Send us your load list and we will help you size it.

The GSW65P suits workshops and small factories, farms, pumping stations and commercial buildings that need three phase standby power.

Price on application. The control panel option, accessories and site requirements all affect the price of this set, so each one is quoted. Use Add to Quote on this page and we will come back to you with a price.
