33kVA (26kW) Genelite Defence Diesel Generator GKD30S

The GKD30S is a Genelite Defence diesel generator set rated at 33kVA / 26kW and powered by a Kubota diesel engine.

Key features

• It is custom-built for military applications, so it is a purpose-designed option for defence users.
• Quieter cooling fans, second mufflers and noise-absorbing ducts are used to give the set a low noise signature.
• Built-in diagnostics and prognostics give the operator information on the condition of the set to support maintenance.
• The set is supplied pre-tested.

What it will run

At 26kW (33kVA), this set typically supplies a group of loads: lighting, refrigeration, pumps and workshop tools. Add up the running and starting load from each appliance's compliance plate, and allow headroom for the largest motor, which can draw several times its running current as it starts. Where the set feeds fixed wiring, connection is through a changeover switch installed by a licensed electrician. Send us your load list along with the voltage and phase you need, and we will help with sizing.

The GKD30S suits defence and military power supply, where a Kubota-powered set with noise-reduction measures is wanted.
