3.3kVA Honda Petrol Generator GH2700

The GH2700 is a single phase petrol generator producing 2.7kW / 3.3kVA at 240V and 50Hz. A Honda overhead valve single cylinder engine running at 3000 rpm with recoil start drives an AC synchronous brushless alternator with Class H insulation, and a small roll frame surrounds the set.

Typically that suits site lighting, a drill, a grinder, saws, a small compressor, a transfer pump and chargers, provided the running total stays within the rated output. Motors draw several times their running current at start, so start the largest load first. The compliance plate on each appliance gives its running and starting figures.
