The Welling & Crossley WC-P13750RCD is a 13.75kVA (at 0.8 PF) open frame petrol generator with factory fitted RCD protection, producing 11000W maximum and 10000W rated single phase output at 230/240V, 50Hz. It runs on the Euro 5 compliant WC-690 twin cylinder, 4 stroke OHV air cooled engine, with AVR regulation and recoil, electric, 2-wire or remote start.
Key features
- Factory fitted RCD: earth leakage protection on the generator itself, for sites that require it.
- 10000W rated output: enough capacity for several heavy loads at once.
- AVR regulation: steady voltage for tools and appliances.
- Twin cylinder WC-690 engine: a twin cylinder petrol engine for this output class.
- Electric, remote and 2-wire start: 2-wire start allows connection to a compatible automatic transfer switch.
- 32 Amp IP66 outlet: for heavier single loads, plus 2 x 15 Amp IP66 outlets and USB-C and USB-A charging.
- 45 L fuel tank: long running between refills.
It carries a 45 L fuel tank and uses 2.2 L/hr at 1/4 load. Noise is rated at less than 90 dBA at 7 m. Outlets are 2 x IP66 15 Amp, 1 x IP66 32 Amp, 1 x USB Type C (15W) and 1 x USB Type A (18W). Note that the RCD protection cannot be used with surge-protected power boards.
What it will run
At 10000W rated the WC-P13750RCD supplies roughly 42 A at 240V (approximate) in total, with each 15 Amp outlet limited to 15 A. On construction and civil sites that typically covers several power tools, a compressor and site lighting together. For commercial standby it typically handles refrigeration, lighting, IT and some air conditioning. Large motors draw a surge at start-up, so start the biggest load first and leave headroom. Check appliance plates and add up running watts before connecting.
The WC-P13750RCD brings RCD protected high-output power to hire fleets, construction and civil work, councils, events on public land and commercial standby. Building connection must be through an inlet and changeover switch installed by a licensed electrician. The standard WC-P13750 is the same unit without RCD protection.
