11kVA Kubota Diesel Generator LG10K

The LG10K is a three phase Kubota diesel generator rated at 10kVA (8kW) prime and 11kVA (8.8kW) standby at 415V and 50Hz. It is powered by a Kubota D1105, a three cylinder, 1.123 litre, naturally aspirated diesel running at 1500 rpm with a mechanical governor. The alternator is a Stamford S0L1-L1, brushless with AVR, and a four pole circuit breaker protects the output.

Key features

• The set has both a prime and a standby rating, so you can size it for emergency backup or for running at a varying load.

Two 15A 240V outlets and one 20A 415V outlet are fitted, and the controller is a DeepSea 6120. Engine oil capacity is 5.1 litres and coolant capacity is 6.4 litres.

What it will run

At 8.8kW standby (8kW prime) on three phase 415V, the LG10K typically supports the essential circuits of a home, shed or small business: lighting, fridges and freezers, pumps and power tools, plus three phase machinery where fitted. Motors draw several times their running current at start, and single phase loads should be spread evenly across the three phases. Check the compliance plate on each appliance for its running and starting load. For home backup, connection is through an inlet and changeover switch installed by a licensed electrician, who can also assess how your loads share across the phases.
