This bundle pairs a Hyundai HY10000iSE 12.5kVA single phase petrol inverter generator with a Hyundai HYPS1500 portable power station. The HY10000iSE has a quoted run time of 9 hours at 50% load from its 25 litre tank, roughly 2.8 litres per hour at that load (approximate), and is rated at 65 dB at 7 metres at 25% load. The HYPS1500 stores 1152Wh, so a steady 100W load (for example LED lights and a small fridge cycling) would typically run for around 11 hours before conversion losses, less in practice.

What it will run

Within its 9000W rated output, the HY10000iSE typically runs a commercial fryer or a two-group espresso machine together with fridges, lights and EFTPOS, as well as household appliances, air conditioning and trade tools. The HYPS1500 typically runs a fridge, lights, EFTPOS and device charging within its 1500W output with the engine off. Most kettles, toasters, heaters and microwaves sit above 1500W, so run those from the generator. Motor loads draw a short start-up surge, so leave headroom, and always check each appliance's rating plate against the output you plan to use.

The bundle suits food trucks and coffee vans that prep and pack down with the engine off, home backup through an outage, and work sites and campsites with generator hours. Run the generator outdoors with clear ventilation, and never plug it into a house power point: home connection is only through an inlet and changeover switch installed by a licensed electrician.
