The ED8.8KYE-400 is an 8.8kVA single phase standby diesel generator from Welling & Crossley, powered by a Kubota diesel engine. It comes in a weather protective acoustic canopy with a 400 litre fuel tank.

It is built around a Crossley SLG series single bearing, 4-pole brushless alternator with a remote start/stop control system, so it can be wired to an automatic transfer switch to start, take the load and stand down again with nobody on site.
