The ED24KYE/3-400-LB is a 24kVA three phase standby diesel generator from Welling & Crossley, powered by a Kubota diesel engine. It comes in a weather protective acoustic canopy with a 400 litre fuel tank.

It is built around a Crossley SLG series single bearing, 4-pole brushless alternator with a remote start/stop control system, so it can be wired to an automatic transfer switch to start, take the load and stand down again with nobody on site.

The built-in load bank keeps the engine properly loaded during exercise runs and at light load, protecting a standby diesel from the glazing and wet stacking that under-loaded engines suffer.

Welling & Crossley builds it as a fully integrated power system and tests every set before it leaves the factory.
