The PDL-500 kW is a portable resistive load bank for generator load testing, mounted on heavy-duty casters for mobility. It uses metal-sheathed nickel-resistance elements with cooling fins, cooled by built-in fan blowers that can run from internal or external power, and offers incremental (8-switch) plus rheostat-based variable load control inside a NEMA Type 1 enclosure with top lifting eye hooks.
