The EP8000HSRE-R/S-V2 is an 8kVA single phase petrol generator fitted with 2-wire remote start and a long range fuel tank, powered by the genuine Honda GX390 with electric start. Close the 2-wire circuit and it starts; open it and it stops.
It runs from a 25 L fuel tank, giving 9.7 hours at 80 percent load. Noise is rated at 72 dBA at 7m, and output is delivered through 2 x 15 Amp outlets.
It is built for unattended duty: off-grid households pairing it with solar and battery systems, ATS standby installations, pump sheds and telemetry sites, anywhere power has to start itself. Gentech also offers a 2-wire remote start kit for the larger EP9500HSRE to EP20000HSRE units.
